How to promote an app on TikTok without running ads

Paid installs on TikTok get more expensive every quarter. Organic reach on the same app is still close to free, and the slideshow format means you can be there every day without filming. Here is how founders are doing it.

Pick one problem, not the whole app

An account that posts about everything the app does grows slowly. An account that posts about one problem, daily, becomes the place people go for that problem. Start with the single pain your app solves best and stay on it for a month.

Post daily, in the same shape

Consistency is the only lever you fully control. One slideshow a day, hook first, one idea per slide, a gentle call to action at the end. The algorithm learns who to show you to from volume, and daily volume is easy when nothing has to be filmed.

Put a single link in the bio that goes straight to the store or a short landing page, and mention it on the last slide of every post. Do not send people to a homepage with six things on it. The whole funnel is swipe, tap, install.

Read the numbers every month

Sort the month by swipe-through and by profile visits. The top three posts tell you which hooks and which topics your audience wants. Remake those with new photos and new angles, and drop the shapes that did nothing. Repeat.

Most apps do not need a viral hit. They need thirty decent posts a month, for six months.

That loop, from link to posts to numbers to the next batch, is what AppSpark automates. You paste the link and approve the batch. It handles the rest, every thirty days.
